Below is a list of evidence-based therapies I incorporate in our work.
Together, we will put together a treatment plan unique to you. We might use one of these styles or a combination of several, depending on your background, preferences, and the concerns you are working through.
Person-centered - this means we focus on the issues that are most pressing for you, move at your pace, work towards goals that are meaningful to you, and take into consideration all factors of your unique identity.
It also means we take time to build trust and understanding between therapist and client - above all else, I strive to hold a space where you can slow down, feel safe and welcome to be yourself, and connect with your own thoughts and feelings.
DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) - helps you develop skills for regulating strong emotions and learn to navigate conflict in your relationships.
ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) - especially helpful for anxiety and depression. Learn to identify what is most important in your life and move towards it, creating a deeper sense of fulfillment, even when anxiety is high or life’s circumstances are especially difficult.
Attachment-based & emotion-focused - helpful when coping skills and looking at the problem “logically” are not enough. A deeper approach to interpersonal, emotional, and relationship distress.

Services
-
Our first phone call is complimentary. I like to hear about what concerns you are seeking help with, what you’re looking for in a counselor, and answer any questions you have before scheduling a first appointment.
-
At the initial session, we will get to know each other, get an overview of the concerns you’d like to focus on, and set goals for our work together.
-
Routine counseling sessions are typically once a week, once every other week, or once a month, depending on your needs and preferences.
-
I have applications pending to accept BCBS and Aetna as of summer 2025. Check back soon for updates!
